The project

Classical music concerts for all audiences, highlighting talented young artists.

Founded in 2005, the association DIÈSE – Les Pianissimes is dedicated to supporting young pianists, renewing the classical concert experience, and making this music more accessible. With carefully curated programming, a friendly atmosphere, and reimagined formats, Les Pianissimes reinvent the classical concert as a lively, inspiring moment of shared connection.

Their missions:

  • Support and highlight tomorrow’s pianists

  • Make classical music more accessible and attract new audiences

  • Renew the classical concert experience

For 20 years, Les Pianissimes have been committed to unveiling young talents and making classical music accessible to everyone. With over 20 concerts each season in Paris and the Lyon region, this growing project combines artistic excellence, conviviality, and engagement. Each concert features demanding programming, a high-quality setting, and a unique opportunity to connect with the artists over a shared complimentary drink.

The association is also engaged in outreach, reaching approximately 300 primary school students and 1,000 university students each year, contributing to the democratization of classical music among younger generations.

By supporting Les Pianissimes, the Francis Kurkdjian Endowment Fund fosters the emergence of young pianists, works to renew and democratize the classical concert experience, and promotes music as accessible, vibrant, and deeply inspiring for all.
