The culmination of ten years of experience in promoting inclusion through dance, Faire corps et rayonner is an inclusive choreographic laboratory led by Compagnie Pasarela, in partnership with EPMSD Les Moulins Gémeaux in Saint-Denis.

At the intersection of art and care, Faire corps et rayonner combines choreographic practice, theoretical modules and pre-professional training. The project provides a structured environment in which participants can develop their relationship to the body, space, the group and artistic creation, while gaining an insight into the practical realities of the cultural sector.

Primarily developed in Seine-Saint-Denis and across the Île-de-France region, the project is based at EPMSD Les Moulins Gémeaux and involves nine additional medico-social organisations across the region. It will reach nearly 150 participants aged 6 to 22 across 20 healthcare and cultural venues in Saint-Denis. This strong local presence helps build lasting connections between medico-social institutions, artistic venues, professional artists and the people they support.

Objectives:

1. To offer artistic practice as a space for personal development and professional pathways
2. To contribute to participants’ personal development by nurturing their potential and skills
3. To facilitate the inclusion of people with disabilities in artistic training programmes
4. To create opportunities for people with disabilities to engage in artistic creation
5. To uphold the cultural rights of people with disabilities
6. To improve support for beneficiaries in healthcare settings by fostering a more open and inclusive culture

By supporting Faire corps et rayonner, the Francis Kurkdjian Endowment Fund is supporting a deeply inclusive project that makes dance a space for recognition, self-expression and transformation. It helps build new bridges between art, care and disability, while reaffirming its commitment to shared, accessible and dignity-centred artistic creation.
