The What Dance Can Do Project

Tuesday, June 6 in the new Conservatoire Maurice Ravel de Clichy-sous-Bois took place, the restitution of the choreographic work of the students of the UPE2A class of the Collège Romain Rolland. This show entitled Hyacinte et d'Or, was produced under the artistic direction of Rodolphe Fouillot assisted by Emmanuelle Huybrechts.

For 20 minutes, these young people from 12 to 16 years of age, who became dancers through hard work, were inspired by their migratory journey in a creative choreography woven both on personal expression and on solidarity. As the only set, a play of lights cleverly positioned dressed the scene.

In the preamble of the evening under the benevolent eye of the College and Town Hall management, the speakers What Dance Can Do and Rachida Gil, teacher-titular of the class, thanked warmly the support of the patrons without whom this project would not have taken place.
